Shirley Coulthard, age 63, of Monroe, WI, formerly of Darlington, WI, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2010, at Meriter Hospital in Madison, WI. She was born September 12, 1946, in Freeport, IL, the daughter of Burdette and Lila (Heidenreich) Broshous. Shirley was united in marriage to Ronald Coulthard on September 12, 1967, in Darlington, WI. She lived in Darlington most of her life. Shirley worked at Greenco Industries in Monroe for a number of years.

Shirley is survived by three children: Cindy (Carl) Wick, Allen (Laura) Coulthard, and Betsy (fiancé Leo Monton) Coulthard all of Darlington; ten grandchildren: Tracy, Teresa, Jeremy, Joel, A.J., Dakota, Lilly, Seth, Troy, Kaitlyn, and one on the way; and one sister: Carolyn Gates of Shullsburg, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband: Ronald on May 29, 1990; her parents; and two brothers: Allen and Edward Broshous.

Shirley was a member of St. Victor's Catholic Church in Monroe. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and shopping with her housemates.

Funeral service will be held Monday, March 1, 2010, at 11:00 A.M. at Erickson Funeral Home, 508 Park Place in Darlington with Rev. Randy Budnar of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Darlington officiating. Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery in Darlington. A visitation will be held Sunday, February 28, 2010, from 1:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at Erickson Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.ericksonfuneralhome.com.
