MONROE - Roger D. Berry, age 69, died Thursday, May 29, 2008 at Monroe Manor Nursing Home. He was born August 26, 1938 in rural Blanchardville, the son of Harold and Clarinda (Gilbertson) Berry. He graduated from Barneveld High School in 1957. Roger married Manda Flannery on February 17, 1962.
Roger was a member and usher of St. John's United Church of Christ, Monroe. He retired from Monroe Clinic Hospital after 33 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Manda Berry of Monroe; three children, Byron (Cecile) Depres Berry of Appleton, Kristine (Dale) Bell of Monroe, Jodi (John) Ward of Monroe; one grandson, Henry Depres Berry; and special friend, Dawn.
He is predeceased by his parents and son, Daniel, in 1963.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at St. John's United Church of Christ, with Rev. William T. "Mike" Heath officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Argyle. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 2, 2008 at SHRINER-HAGER-GOHLKE FUNERAL HOME, Monroe.
