Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Four people were cited for disorderly conduct Friday, Nov. 9, following an investigation into an Oct. 14 disturbance at a downtown tavern. Neelian R. Nelson, 27, Argyle, and Matthew J. Dunwiddie, 24, Bradley S. Dunwiddie, 27, and Lance M. Dunwiddie, 23, all of Juda, were cited in the matter that resulted in one person being treated at Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County for head and face injuries.

• Elebic Soto-Alverto, 27, Darlington, was cited for disorderly conduct at 2:32 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, following an investigation into a disturbance at a downtown tavern.

• Jerad H. Rideout, 20, Darlington, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia at 7:28 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, following a traffic stop by the Darlington Police K-9 Unit. Rideout, who was on probation, was jailed as a result of the offense.

• Marcos Mermudez-Sanchez, 22, Darlington, was cited for driving with a suspended license and without vehicle insurance at about 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12, following a traffic stop on Galena Street.

• Lisa Saucedo, 27, Darlington, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance Monday, Nov. 12, following a traffic stop on Galena Street.

• A 16-year-old Darlington male was cited for violating his graduated driver's license restrictions at about 7:55 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, following a traffic stop on Center Hill Road.

Monroe Police

MONROE - On Monday, Nov. 12:

• A woman reported at 8:13 a.m. that her granddaughter's eyeglasses had been stolen from a residence in the 2300 block of 14th Avenue.

• A woman in the 2600 block of Countryview Court reported at 11:44 a.m. that she was getting unwanted texts from her estranged husband. The two are in the midst of a divorce. Police warned him to stop.

• In response to a citizen's complaint at 12:09 p.m., police left a warning notice for a resident in the 1200 block of 21st Street to remove a motor vehicle parked on the grass.

• A syringe was found in the gutter near the intersection of 14th Street and 22nd Avenue and brought into the police station at 1:06 p.m. for disposal.

• An officer on patrol saw two dogs running free at 4:26 p.m. near Abraham Lincoln Accelerated Learning Academy and, recognizing them as belonging to a resident in the 2300 block of 14th Avenue, went to that residence to warn their owner not to allow them to roam at large.

• Steven W. Gorton, 58, Monroe, was cited for inattentive driving after police responded at 5:37 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, to a two-vehicle collision in the 100 block of North 18th Avenue. Gorton hit a vehicle driven by Anne L. Bauman, 59, Monroe. No injuries were reported. The vehicles were moderately damaged.

• Emily A. Skattum, 29, Monroe, was cited for hit-and-run to an unattended vehicle after police responded at 5:58 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, to a two-vehicle collision in the 2000 block of 9th Street. Skattum hit a legally parked vehicle owned by Steven W. Gerber, 31, Monroe. No injuries were reported. The vehicles were moderately damaged.

• Police were called to the 1400 block of Parkview Drive at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, to a dispute between family members over an ATV. The family was advised to work it out between themselves.

• A Monroe girl, 15, was cited for underage tobacco possession after an officer on patrol observed the violation at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, at 20th Street and 16th Avenue. She was turned over to a parent.

• A vehicle keying was reported at 3:55 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, in the 1300 block of 15th Avenue. Police are investigating a lead.

• School staff at Abraham Lincoln Learning Academy, 2625 14th Ave., asked police to come talk with a 10-year-old boy to impress upon him the ramifications of his unruly behavior.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Manuel Contreras, 49, Fall River, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 5:45 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, after he was stopped for traffic infractions on Wisconsin 92 at Glenway Road in the Town of Brooklyn.

• Matthew E. Thomas, 31, New Glarus, was cited for speeding and driving with a suspended license at 4:26 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, in the N7700 block of Wisconsin 69 in the Town of New Glarus.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Nicole M. Schoen, 28, Janesville, was arrested at 3 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12, on a valid warrant issued by Lafayette County. She was jailed.

• Several items were reported stolen from a residence on Wayne Center Road in the Town of Wayne at 2 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12.

• Mick E. Curran, 19, Platteville, was cited for improperly passing a school bus on Wisconsin 81 in the Town of Seymour after a deputy responded at 7:12 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, to a complaint of a vehicle passing a school bus stopped with the lights on and its stop sign out.

• Justin R. Myers, 35, Gratiot, was cited for failure to fasten his seatbelt and for driving with a suspended license, an expired registration and no vehicle insurance at 8:58 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, on Wis. 11 in South Wayne.

• Tracy L. Gough, 41, Mineral Point, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign on County B in the Town of Belmont at 12:37 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13.

• Nicole T. Dressens, 24, Dodgeville, was cited for speeding on County W in the Town of Benton at 3:17 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14.

• A deputy responded to a civil dispute over personal property at a residence on Fritzges Road in the Town of Wayne at 11:40 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14.

• A deputy responded to a civil dispute over personal property at a residence on North Van Buren Street in Benton at 7:56 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14.
