Albany Police

ALBANY - Kelsey M. Gruter, 22, Belleville, was arrested Sunday, May 27, on charges of driving while intoxicated causing injury (first offense) and driving too fast for conditions.

- A 17-year-old Albany male was cited Saturday, May 26, for disorderly conduct.

Monroe Police

MONROE - Jonah D. Antos, 17, Monroe, was cited for truancy (first offense) at 10:47 a.m. Friday, May 25, at Monroe High School, 1600 26th St. During the same police call, a 14-year-old Monroe male was also cited for truancy (second offense).

- An officer was dispatched at 2:50 p.m. Friday, May 25, to remove a dead cat from a residential yard in the 2100 block of 11th Street.

- A domestic altercation between a parent and 13-year-old child was reported at 6:21 p.m. Friday, May 25, in the 600 block of 18th Avenue. The case was referred to Green County Human Services.

- A man who has been overnighting without a permit at the Green County Fairgrounds was warned to move along or risk a citation after police responded to a complaint at 8:34 a.m. Saturday, May 26.

- A dog owner in the 300 block of 2nd Street was warned after police responded to a complaint of excessive barking at 9:02 p.m. Saturday, May 26.

- Police took a report at 4:08 a.m. Monday, May 28, of vandalism to one of wood-carving artist Zoli Akacsos' sculptures on the Courthouse Square, a palm tree sculpture located in the 1600 block of 11th Street.

- A vehicle-egging was reported in the 2000 block of Ridgeway Road at 10:58 a.m. Monday, May 28.

- Police responded at 2:17 p.m. Monday, May 28, to a report of a dog locked in vehicle with closed windows in the 300 block of 6th Avenue West. The owner of the vehicle was located and came to let out the dog, telling police the vehicle had been on loan to a person who was responsible for locking the dog inside. This person was warned.

- The theft of a red gazing ball was reported at 3:35 p.m. Monday, May 28, from a yard in the 2500 block of 16th Street.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Cory E. Thornton, 21, and Brandon D. Broshous, 20, both of Monticello, were cited for disorderly conduct after deputies responded to a noise complaint at 12:20 a.m. Monday, May 28, to the W4000 block of Towns Road in the Town of Sylvester.

- Todd Huebler, 55, Belleville, was cited for driving while intoxicated (first offense) and transported by Belleville EMS with injuries to Meriter Hospital in Madison after deputies responded at 4:13 p.m. Monday, May 28, to a one-vehicle crash on Wisconsin 92 near Hillcrest Road in the Town of Exeter. Huebler reportedly lost control and collided with a ditch. The vehicle was moderately damaged and towed from the scene. Huebler was also issued a citation for failure to maintain control.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Gregory W. Johnson, 64, Sugar Grove, Ill., was cited for speeding at 1:59 p.m. Friday, May 25, on Wisconsin 11 in the Town of Shullsburg.

- Jesus Manuel Palomino, 32, Janesville, was cited for a seatbelt violation and driving an uninsured vehicle at 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 25, on Wis. 11 in South Wayne.

- Rebekah A. Clark, 51, Dubuque, Iowa, was cited for speeding at 6:08 p.m. Friday, May 25, on Wis. 11 in the Town of Shullsburg.

- Amy L. Arzbaecher, 52, Brookfield, was cited for speeding at 8:18 p.m. Friday, May 25, on Wis. 23 in the Town of Shullsburg.

- Celso Ortiz Campos, 29, South Wayne, was cited for driving without a license at 2:05 p.m. Saturday, May 26, on Wisconsin 78 in Wiota.

- During a traffic enforcement during the afternoons of Saturday, May 26, and Sunday, May 27, speeding citations were issued to Rolland E. Adkisson, 34, Roseville, Ill.; Katelyn F. Austin, 21, Cross Plains; Marlene L. Bartels, 55, Springfield, Mo.; Kevin L. Buss, 45, Kissimee, Fla.; Ben D. Dingman, 25, Monmouth, Ill.; Richard J. Ehrlich, 37, Dubuque, Iowa; Tammy P. Holstein, 47, Dodgeville; Tanicia L. Kieffer, 17, Verona; Sylvia B. Parsons, 23, Omaha, Neb.; Jack E. Person, 19, Forreston, Ill.; David M. Sauser, 53, West Bend; Tiffany A. Seifert, 27, Omaha, Neb.; and Brittany A. Zeier, 29, Darlington.

- Brock A.S. Reeson, 20, Blanchardville, was cited for speeding at 6:55 p.m. Saturday, May 26, on Wis. 78 in the Town of Blanchard.

- Colton S. Carpenter, 20, Darlington, was cited for failure to yield right-of-way during a left turn, and Randy C. Steele, 43, Darlington, was cited for driving a vehicle without insurance after deputies responded at 7:40 p.m. Saturday, May 26, a two-vehicle accident with no injuries on Wis. 23 in the Town of Willow Springs. Steele was driving a pickup truck southbound and unable to avoid hitting Carpenter's pickup as he turned in front of Steele. Both pickup trucks were moderately damaged.

- Karin E. Lutes, 48, Shullsburg, was cited for speeding at 5:40 p.m. Sunday, May 27, on County I in the Town of New Diggings.

- Ronald L. Richard, 43, Galena, Ill., was cited for speeding at 6:15 p.m. Sunday, May 27, on Wis. 11 in the Town of Shullsburg.

- Colby E. Reichling, 21, Mineral Point, was cited for obstructing an officer after a deputy responded at 10:05 p.m. Sunday, May 27, to a UTV traffic complaint on Wis. 23 in the Town of Darlington. The driver of the UTV sped off as the deputy approached the stopped vehicle. Reichling and another passenger had exited the UTV prior to it leaving the scene. Reichling was later released to a responsible party. The incident remains under investigation.
