Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Andrew Stocks, 27, Benton, was cited for careless operation of an ATV following a traffic stop on West River Street at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 23.

• Carolina Garcia, 38, of Darlington, was cited on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at about 2:15 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without a valid Wisconsin driver's license following a traffic crash on Main Street.

• A 16-year-old of Darlington was cited on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at about 3:45 p.m. for violating his graduated driver's license requirement following a traffic stop on Ohio Street.

Monroe Police

MONROE - Brett A. Child, 17, Monroe, was cited for disorderly conduct at 11:56 a.m. Wednesday, May 23, after police responded to a report at Monroe High School, 1600 26th St., that Child punched an 18-year-old male student.

• Roland J. Winn, 75, Monroe, was cited for failure to yield right-of-way while making a left turn, causing great bodily injury, after police responded at 4:36 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, to a two-vehicle accident at 11th Avenue and 21st Street. Winn reportedly collided with a moped driven by Timothy E. Dillon, 66, Monroe. Dillon was not wearing a helmet and was transported with serious injuries to the Monroe Clinic by Monroe EMS.

• Alexandria R. Gilroy, 22, Monroe, was cited for retail theft at 4:56 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, after she reportedly shoplifted swimwear and a pair of sunglasses from Walmart, 300 6th Ave. W.

• Brodie G. Flannery, 22, Darlington, was arrested in the 1800 block of 12th Street at 9:59 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, on an outstanding warrant issued by the Lafayette County Sheriff's Department. He was transported by Lafayette County deputies to the jail there.

• The theft of $200 in cash and coins was reported at a residence in the 2700 block of 7th Street at 5:46 a.m. Wednesday, May 23. Police are investigating a possible suspect, a person who was doing work in the home.

• Police responded to the 2100 block of 15th Avenue at 8:48 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, to take a report that a 21-year-old man put a pea-sized amount of the local anesthetic Orajel on a cookie and gave it to a 16-year-old boy, who ate it, experienced numbing, sneezing and other adverse effects and was taken to the hospital for a check-up. A parent of the 16-year-old called police to complain about the incident. Police warned the 21-year-old to stay away from the teenager.
