DARLINGTON - Christopher P. Atkinson, 18, Marquette, Iowa, was cited for underage person transporting intoxicants around 1 a.m. Monday on County W in Benton township. Katie A. Rosseter, 17, Benton, was cited for underage persons in possession of tobacco.
• A deputy assisted the Monroe Police Department around 12:30 p.m. Monday by checking on Main Street, Gratiot, in an attempt to locate a female suspect in a stolen vehicle case.
• Cory L. Neff, 35, Warren, Ill., was transported from Jo Daviess County Jail to Lafayette County Jail around 8 p.m. Monday. Neff had been taken into custody in Jo Daviess County on a valid Lafayette County warrant.
• A deputy checked on the welfare of a subject sitting in a parked vehicle around 2 p.m. Monday at the Lafayette County Fairgrounds.
• A report was filed around 2 p.m. Monday for the theft of several stainless steel items from a location on Spore Road in Wiota township.
• A deputy responded around 4 p.m. Monday to a complaint of horses on the roadway on County D in Fayette township.
• A deputy responded to a suspicious activity complaint around 10:45 p.m. Monday on County N in Argyle township.
