Monroe Police

MONROE - Luann C. Monson, 56, Gratiot, was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way after police responded at 2:11 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, to a two-vehicle accident with no injuries at the intersection of 8th Street and 7th 1/2 Street. Monson collided with a Green County Sheriff's Department squad car driven by Deputy Bradley Gilbert. Both vehicles were moderately damaged.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Michael E. Hoffman, 26, Monroe, was arrested at an unspecified location at 9:36 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, on warrants issued by the Monroe Police Department and Green County Sheriff's Department. He was jailed.

n Drew J. Griffen, 22, Lena, Ill., was cited for inattentive driving and transported by Green County EMS for non-life threatening injuries after deputies responded at 3:41 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, to a two-vehicle crash on Wisconsin 11 at East Murray Street in the Town of Cadiz. Griffen reportedly rearended a vehicle driven by Paul M. Nelson, 71, Monroe, as Nelson was stopped to make a left turn. Nelson reported some very minor injuries. Both vehicles were towed. The Wisconsin State Patrol and Browntown and South Wayne Fire Departments also assisted at the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Dylan T. Luchsinger, 18, Monticello, was cited for underage drinking after deputies responded at 8:44 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, to a report of suspicious activity at Yellowstone Lake.
