MONROE - Joy L. King, 44, Monroe, was arrested in the 500 block of West 21st Street at 5:49 p.m. Thursday, July 5, on a warrant issued Tuesday by the Green County Circuit Court on charges that she sold prescription narcotics and violated bond conditions. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 23.
Douglas E. Butler, Jr., 42, Monroe, was cited for setting off fireworks in the 2500 block of 17th Avenue at 11:22 p.m. Wednesday, July 4, after police responded to a neighbor's complaint. Butler was initially warned, but when he continued shooting off fireworks, police issued the citation and confiscated his Roman candles and bottle rockets.
Mary J. Putman, 62, Monroe, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 10:45 a.m. Thursday, July 5, following a two-vehicle collision in the intersection of 8th Street and 16th Avenue. Putman hit a vehicle driven by Dale W. Knauer, 75, Monroe. One person reported injuries and was transported via Green County EMS. There was moderate damage to the vehicles, and one was towed.
Zachary R. Ackerman, 19, Monroe, was cited for skateboarding in a prohibited area in the 1600 block of 10th Street at 4:55 p.m. Thursday, July 5, after police responded to a complaint of a group skateboarding. Others in the group were warned. Ackerman has been warned several times in the past.
A 14-year-old Browntown boy who was doing court-issued community service in the 1500 block of 6 1/2 Avenue was warned at 1:42 p.m. Thursday, July 5, after police responded to a report that he was swearing at the site.
A gas drive-off of $20 was reported by Kwik Trip, 1019 9th St., at 9:16 p.m. Thursday, July 5.
A resident in the 2000 block of 11th Avenue was warned not to feed a feral cat and kittens at 7:35 p.m. Thursday, July 5, after police responded to a neighbor's complaint.
Two people were warned not to ride bicycles on the sidewalks in the 1000 block of 16th Avenue at 9:17 p.m. Thursday, July 5, after police responded to a complaint. It is a violation of city code to ride bicycles on the sidewalks on or within a block of the Square downtown.
A property owner in the 2100 block of Ridgeway Road was sent a warning notice Thursday, July 5, to remove two vehicles parked on grass in the backyard.

MONROE - Shawna Kailee Rodebaugh, 16, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of violating the Absolute Sobriety law by driving while impaired by alcohol after deputies stopped her for a traffic infraction at 1:22 a.m. Thursday, July 5, on County KK at Wisconsin 11 in the Town of Jefferson. She was also cited for underage drinking and operating left of center. She was released pending court.
Brett Reasa Parr, 18, Monroe, was cited for disorderly conduct in the W300 block of Decatur Road in the Town of Decatur at 9:39 p.m. Thursday, July 5, after a deputy investigated a traffic complaint filed against Parr.
Deputies impounded a white Dodge dually truck with a flatbed at 6:05 p.m. Thursday, July 5, after an area resident reported that the truck was abandoned in an empty lot on County EE in the Town of Mount Pleasant. The truck's registration showed it had been stolen from a car dealership in McHenry, Ill. The sheriff's department is working with law enforcement in McHenry to track down how the truck got to Green County.

DARLINGTON - Tate R. Huntington, 17, Darlington, was cited for speeding at 12:22 a.m. Thursday, July 5, on Wisconsin 23 in the Town of Willow Springs.
A deputy responded at 10:10 a.m. Thursday, July 5, to a report that a 76-year-old man was bitten by a cat on County K in the Town of Darlington.
