MONROE - Jonathan R. Leverton-Duerst, 19, and Michael J. Boroczk, Jr., 20, both of New Glarus, were cited for underage drinking (first offense) in the 100 block of 8th Street at 1:05 a.m. Tuesday, July 10. Cited at the same time for a curfew violation was Tyler T. Neuenschwander, 17, New Glarus.

MONROE - Marius R. Kufalk, 17, Fitchburg, was arrested on a charge of possessing drug paraphernalia after deputies responded at 4:38 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, to a complaint of suspicious activity on 7th Street at 9th Avenue in New Glarus. A 15-year-old Verona boy was cited for underage drinking and released to a parent. Kufalk was jailed and later posted bond and was released pending court.
- Kenneth D. Bejster, 46, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated (third offense) and transported by Monroe EMS with injuries to an area hospital after a one-vehicle crash reported at 5:27 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, in the N1700 block of Twin Grove Road in the Town of Jefferson. Bejster was southbound when a deer reportedly entered into his lane. After he took evasive action, the vehicle veered into the ditch, traveled up an embankment, into a hayfield and hit a large boulder before coming to a rest. Bejster was also cited for failure to maintain control and jailed pending court or bond. The vehicle he was driving was severely damaged and towed. The Juda Fire Department also responded to the scene.
