Monroe Police

MONROE - On Wednesday, Aug. 21:

• AnDrue E.K. Moen, 24, Monroe, was cited for inattentive driving after police responded at 4:30 p.m. to a one-vehicle accident at 13th Avenue and 14th Street. Moen's vehicle collided with a power pole.

• Jeremy J. Fisher, 29, and Jordan M. Geiger, 23, both of Beloit, were cited for disorderly conduct at 5:17 p.m. in the 2300 block of 14th Avenue, as the result of a disturbance.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Travis P. Bowles, 25, Monticello, was taken into custody on a probation hold at 9:48 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, at the Probation and Parole Office at the Green County Justice Center. He was jailed.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Wednesday, Aug. 21:

• A deputy responded at 12:37 a.m. to a noise complaint at a residence on West Water Street in Shullsburg.

• Justin L. Johnson, 27, Darlington, was cited for speeding and driving with a suspended license at 8:10 a.m. on Wisconsin 78 in Argyle Township.

• A deputy took a report at 9 a.m. of several worthless checks issued from a residence on Red School Road in Elk Grove Township.

• Criminal damage to property was reported at 12:30 p.m. on Wehinger Road in Wayne Township. Several tractors had been damaged.

• An out-of-control 9-year-old was reported at 4:12 p.m. on County XX in Belmont Township.

• A complaint was filed at 8:35 p.m. for a violation of Wisconsin's Smoke-Free Air Law at The Brass Monkey, 109 W. Center St. Cigarettes were reportedly being smoked inside the bar.

• Deputies assisted the Shullsburg Police Department at 11:08 p.m. with a disturbance at a residence on West Main Street in Shullsburg.

• Harassment via unwanted text messages and emails was reported at 11:23 p.m. at a residence on Hawley Road in Wiota Township. A suspect was named.
