Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Kurt D. Duerst, 50, New Glarus was arrested on a charge of felony bail jumping after deputies responded to a report of a disorderly person at a residence in the 900 block of 7th Street in New Glarus at 5:20 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13. He was jailed. In Green County Circuit Court, he faces two counts of felony bail jumping and a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct stemming from the incident. His cash bond is set at $1,000 with the conditions that he consume no controlled substances and not drink. His preliminary hearing is Aug. 16.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Tuesday, Aug. 13:

- Criminal damage to property was reported at 7:32 a.m. on County A in Shullsburg Township.

- A deputy responded at 5:23 p.m. to assist in a civil dispute over property removal on Lake Joy Lane in Belmont Township.

- A dog running at large was reported at 8:01 p.m. on County F in Fayette Township.
