DARLINGTON - Jose Augustin De la Torre-Mendoza, 40, Darlington, was arrested at about 7:30 a.m. Aug. 4, for battery and disorderly conduct following a domestic disturbance at a residence on East Street. He remains jailed pending court and deportation proceedings.
• Patricia L. Schuetz, 40, Darlington, was arrested at about 6 p.m. Thursday for second-offense operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic crash investigation on Washington Street. Two juvenile passengers were in Schuetz's vehicle at the time of arrest, which increases the criminal penalty. Schuetz was released pending court.
• George R. Bauer III, 20, Belmont, was cited at about 7 a.m. Monday for resisting an officer following a disturbance at the Lafayette County Sheriff's Department. He was released pending court.
