On January 7:

● At approximately 2:13 a.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop for an observed traffic violation in the 300 block of N. Main Street.  As a result of the traffic stop, Kyle D. Judd, 24, of New Glarus was arrested for an Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated-1st Offense.  Judd was also cited for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration (PAC) and Failure/Improper Stop at a Stop Sign.  Judd was released to a responsible person. There is a presumption of innocence until proven guilty.

On January 8:

● At approximately 6:10 p.m., Officers responded to the 200 block of N. Main Street for a report of a 2 vehicle, motor vehicle crash with no reported injuries.  Officers found a vehicle operated by Teresa J. Carpenter, 56, of Monticello was Northbound on N. Main Street when she took her eyes off the roadway and struck a legally parked pick-up truck.  As a result of the crash investigation, Carpenter was cited for Unsafe Lane Deviation.  There is a presumption of innocence until proven guilty.   A State of Wisconsin Motor Vehicle Crash Report was completed.
