MONROE — Family Promise of Green County is offering the community an opportunity to win $10,000, while helping families affected by homelessness find their way toward housing stability. This year’s “10 Grand in Your Hand” fundraiser will be held in-person on Thursday, June 13 at 6 p.m. at Ludlow Mansion Events. 

Tickets to the event include dinner for two, beer, wine, soda, live music, auction and a raffle ticket. Every tenth raffle ticket drawn wins a prize worth at least $100. The last ticket drawn could win $10,000. Winners not need to be present. There are limited tickets available this year, and each ticket costs $100.  

As part of this year’s fundraiser, Family Promise of Green County will also hold an online auction from Thursday, June 6 through 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 13. The auction offers many exciting items and packages donated by area businesses and individuals.

Family Promise of Green County has helped hundreds of families find stable housing and address challenges that impact their ability to maintain housing. The Green County affiliate of Family Promise was founded in November 2011 and uses a three-tiered model to prevent families from becoming homeless, to provide shelter to those who need it, and to empower families through stabilization.
