Michael R. VanNatta, age 47, of Monroe, died on Monday, January 26, 2015 at his home. He was born on August 30, 1967 in Platteville the son of Robert and Catherine (Landon) VanNatta.
Michael was a graduate of Darlington High School and had an Associate Degree in Graphic Design.
Michael and Nikki Rufer were married on May 7, 2005 at the Jordan Lutheran Church.
He was a Dispatch Warehouse Manager for Certco Company in Madison and most recently, Quality Transport in Freeport.
Michael was a member of Jordan Lutheran Church, served on the Church Council, enjoyed Nascar and enjoyed riding his Harley.
He is survived by his wife, Nikki of Monroe; daughter, Makayla VanNatta of Monroe; mother, Catherine (Norman) Mueller of Monroe; brother, Todd VanNatta of Madison; mother and father-in-law Gene and Joyce Rufer of Monroe. He is also survived by: Antonio Addison, Brandon Addison, Elizabeth VanNatta and Zachary VanNatta and other relatives and friends.
He is predeceased by his father and a sister in infancy.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Jordan Lutheran Church, Browntown, WI; with Pastor Dennis Perger officiating. Burial will follow in Jordan Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, January 30th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Shriner-Hager Gohlke Funeral Home 1455 Mansion Dr. and N. 18th Ave. in Monroe.
