TOWN OF PLYMOUTH - A 24-year-old Brodhead man is in critical condition following a vehicle crash Saturday night, according to a press release from Robert Spoden, Rock County sheriff.

Joshua E. Restivo was found ejected from the 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier he was driving on Wisconsin 213 near West Plymouth Church Road in Rock County at about 10:17 p.m., the press release said. Emergency personnel began arriving to the scene at about 10:22 p.m. Restivo was flown by React Helicopter to Rockford Memorial Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

An initial investigation showed Restivo was traveling west on Wis. 213 when he lost control of his vehicle on a curve at West Plymouth Church Road and entered a ditch. The vehicle rolled over several times and Restivo was ejected from the car. Restivo and the vehicle came to rest several hundred feet from where the vehicle left the road. He was not wearing a seatbelt. Restivo was cited for operating while intoxicated, and further citations may be issued following completion of the crash investigation, the press release said.

Speed may also have been a factor in the crash, according to the press release. The Orfordville fire department and emergency management services along with the Beloit's emergency management services also responded to the crash.
