Monroe Police

On July 30:

● At 1:44a.m. officers arrested Alex R. Nipple, 22, Monroe, following a traffic offense, and was also cited for operating left of center line. Nipple was released to a responsible person pending a court appearance.

On July 31:

● At approximately 3:59 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding in the W5400 block of STH 11. An investigation led to the arrest of Caryn M. Langarica, 21, Freeport, on a charge of possession of tetrahydrocannabinols (THC) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Langarica was cited for speeding, and booked and released pending a court appearance.

On August 5:

● At 12:19a.m., officers responded to the 2400 block of 6th Avenue for a report of a subject causing a disturbance. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Bryan W. Holland, 52, of Monroe. Bryan was charged with Disorderly Conduct and confined to the Green County Jail pending his appearance in court.

● At 12:05p.m., officers responded to the intersection of 6th Street and 20th Avenue for a report of a two-vehicle crash. Investigation revealed a vehicle driven by Karen J. Frauchiger, 79, of Monroe was traveling east on 6th Street approaching 20th Avenue and was stopped at the intersection . The north bound vehicle then proceeded through the intersection and was struck by Karen’s vehicle who failed to stop at the stop sign. Both vehicles sustained minor damage and there were no injuries reported. Karen received a citation for FYR-Stop Sign.   

On August 8:

● At 12:12a.m. officers were called for a complaint about a person violating bail conditions at a business in the 1900 block of 10th Avenue. An investigation let to the arrest of Gavin B. Vance, 23, Monroe, on two counts of bail jumping due to violations of bail conditions from prior cases prohibiting alcohol consumption and being in a place which sells alcohol. During the arrest officers discovered marijuana, so Vance was also charged with possession of tetrahydrocannabinols(THC)-2nd offense. Vance was also arrested on a warrant issued by the Sheboygan Police Department for failure to appear in court for a disoderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia case. Vance was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings. 

● At 2:44a.m. officers conducted a traffic offense stop at 8th Avenue and 8th Street. An investigation led to the arrest of Dakota C.J. Lorenz, 29, Chilton on a charge of operating while intoxicated-4th offense and possession of tetrahydrocannabinols(THC). Lorenz also cited for improper stop sign and open intoxicants in a vehicle. Lorenz was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.


Lafayette County Sheriff

On July 2:

● 3:31 a.m. A deputy responded to CTH Z, Darlington Township for livestock on the roadway.

● 3:55 a.m.  A deputy responded to Galena ST, Darlington Township for an animal problem.

● 6:22 a.m. A deputy responded to CTH Q, New Diggings Township for a 911 misdial.

● 11:50 a.m. Belmont Fire responded to Saint Peters RD, Elk Grove Township for a tractor fire. A deputy assisted on scene.

● 4:21 p.m. Lafayette County EMS responded to Crist LN, Willow Springs Township for a medical emergency. A deputy assisted on scene.

● 5:21 p.m. A deputy responded to Buncombe Rd, Benton Township for livestock on the roadway.

● 5:44 p.m. Green County EMS responded to CTH KK, Gratiot Township for a medical emergency. Gratiot First and Warren EMS assisted on scene.

● 5:50 p.m. A deputy responded to CTH H, Elk Grove Township for a vehicle unlock.

● 6:33 p.m. A deputy responded to Silverthorn RD, Shullsburg Township for a traffic hazard.

● 6:41p.m. Deputies responded to STH 11, Wayne Township for a domestic dispute.

● 8:40 PM A deputy responded to Wood Rd, Seymour Township for a vehicle unlock.

On July 1:

● 12:16 a.m. A deputy responded to CTH Y, Wiota Township for a noise complaint.

● 1:26 a.m. A deputy responded to S Lafayette ST in the Village of Argyle for a two vehicle accident. Wyat L Bredeson, 19, Darlington was cited for Operating after Suspension, Failure to Keep Vehicle under Control, and Underage Possession.

● 2:54 a.m. A deputy responded to W Mound View AV in the Village of Belmont for a report of suspicious activity.

● 7:55 a.m. Krista M Eash, 23, Janesville was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Cocaine, and a valid warrant. Ricky L Rognon, 35, Edgerton was also arrested for Possession of Drug  Paraphernalia and Possession of Cocaine. Both subjects were transported to the Lafayette County Jail where they were booked and Eash remains in custody;  Rognon was released.

● 8:17 a.m. A deputy responded to Stone RD, Willow Springs Township for a reported animal bite.

● 10:17 a.m. Lafayette County EMS responded to Huntington CT in the City for a medical emergency. Darlington Police assisted on scene.

● 11:26 a.m. A deputy responded to Ipswitch RD, Elk Grove Township for livestock on the roadway.

● 11:58 a.m. A deputy responded to CTH Y, Wiota Township for a one vehicle accident.

● 4:09 p.m. Belmont EMS responded to N Elm ST in the City of Platteville for a medical emergency.

● 5:12 p.m. A deputy responded to STH 11, New Diggings Township for an animal problem.

● 6:09 p.m.Monte R McKibben, 51, Muncie, IN was cited for Speeding on CTH W, White Oak Springs Township. 

● 7:26 p.m. Gratiot Fire and First, Green County EMS responded to CTH KK, Gratiot Township for an atv accident. Warren EMS and Police assisted on scene. Sheila C Conner, 56, Winnebago, IL was operating a UTV when she lost control going over a ramp and overturned. Conner and her passenger, Evelyn R Zimmerman, 58, Freeport, IL were transported to the hospital. The crash remains under investigation.

● 7:58 p.m. Steven D Andrews, 43, Shullsburg was cited for Speeding on CTH O, White Oak Springs Township.

● 9:23 p.m. A deputy responded to Dawn Vista in the Village of Belmont for a check welfare.

● 9:36 p.m. A deputy responded to CTH Y, Wiota Township for a fireworks complaint.

● 10:32 p.m. Deputies responded to Center Drive RD, Elk Grove Township for a report of disorderly conduct.

On July 3:

● 12:47 a.m. A deputy responded to County Shop RD, Darlington Township to assist Darlington Police with a traffic stop.

● 7:16 a.m. Chad R Marsh, 24, Plant City, FL was cited for Speeding on STH 23, Gratiot Township.

● 10:05 a.m. A deputy responded to CTH I, New Diggings Township for livestock on the roadway.

● 11:06 a.m. Steven D Monahan, 49, Galena, IL was cited for Speeding on STH 78, Argyle Township.

● 11:10 a.m. A deputy responded to S McKnight ST in the Village of South Wayne for check welfare.

● 1:56 p.m.Belmont Fire responded to Burr Oak RD, Belmont Township for a grass fire.

● 2:15 p.m.Blanchardville EMS responded to E Hill ST in the Village for a medical emergency.

● 6:03 p.m. Austin J Smiley, 21, South Wayne was cited for Speeding on STH 78, Argyle Township.

● 6:50 p.m. Chong J Li, 71, Roselle, IL was cited for Speeding on CTH W, Monticello Township.

● 7:16 p.m. Destin Z Wampfler, 19, Freeport, IL was cited for Speeding on CTH W, Monticello Township.

● 7:35 p.m. A deputy responded to CTH J, Benton Township for livestock on the roadway.

● 8:28 p.m. Benton First and Hazel Green EMS responded to S Van Buren ST in the Village for a medical emergency.

● 10:00 p.m. Jesus F Colorado, 32, Platteville was cited for Speeding on STH 81, Seymour Township.

● 11:30 p.m. Dylan L Rebout, 19, Darlington was cited for Operating after Suspension and Speeding on STH 11, Gratiot Township.

On July 4:

● 12:00 a.m. Deputies responded to CTH F, Fayette Township, for a domestic dispute. 

● 12:59 a.m. A deputy encountered a disabled vehicle on CTH F, Blanchard Township.

● 5:49 a.m.  A deputy responded to CTH W, Gratiot Township, for a one vehicle accident. Gage A. Gilbert, 24, Davis, IL, was traveling on CTH W when he lost control of his motorcycle. No injuries were reported and Gilbert’s 2002 Suzuki received moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

● 9:08 a.m. A deputy responded to STH 78, Gratiot Township, for livestock on the roadway.

● 9:22 a.m. A deputy responded to S Penn ST in the Village of Belmont for a vehicle unlock.

● 10:05 a.m. A deputy responded to STH 78, Wiota Township, for a traffic complaint.

● 10:24 a.m. A deputy assisted Shullsburg Police Department with traffic control on STH 11 in the City of Shullsburg.

● 12:04 p.m. A deputy responded to Dawn Vista Dr. in the Village of Belmont for a vehicle unlock.

● 1:51 p.m.  A deputy assisted Shullsburg Police Department with a disorderly conduct on W Estey ST in the City of Shullsburg. Wisconsin State Patrol assisted on scene.

● 2:39 p.m. A deputy responded to STH 23, Darlington Township, for a report of  tree branches and debris on the roadway.

● 4:46 p.m. A deputy responded to W Mound View AV in the Village of Belmont for a commercial alarm.

● 6:19 p.m. A deputy responded to Country Club RD, Darlington Township, for a vehicle unlock.

● 8:35 p.m. Benton Fire Department responded to S Van Buren ST in the Village of Benton for a deck fire. Benton First Response, Hazel Green EMS, Benton Police Department, and a deputy assisted on scene.

● 9:34 p.m. A deputy responded to CTH F, Fayette Township, for a report of disorderly conduct.

● 9:52 p.m. A deputy assisted Benton Police Department with a one vehicle accident on E Main ST in the Village of Benton.

● 10:07 p.m. A deputy responded to Lancaster RD, Lamont Township, for a report of tree branches, in the roadway.

On July 5:

● 7:47 AM Darlington Fire Department responded to Wells ST in the City of Darlington for a fire in a display case. Darlington Police Department assisted on scene.

● 9:57 AM A deputy responded to CTH W, Gratiot Township, for traffic control.

● 10:50 AM A deputy responded to Larson RD, Wayne Township, for an animal bite.

● 3:21 PM A deputy responded to CTH O, Seymour Township, for a 911 misdial.

● 5:14 PM A deputy responded to CTH S, Willow Springs Township, for a juvenile problem.

● 7:55 PM Jamie A. Lawrence, 37, Benton, reported striking a deer on STH 11, Benton Township. No injuries were reported and Lawrence’s 2019 Volkswagen received moderate damage and was driven from the scene. Benton First Response, Benton Fire Department, Hazel Green EMS, Hazel Green Police Department, and a deputy assisted on scene.

● 8:08 PM A deputy responded to Woodberry RD, Lamont Township, for livestock on the roadway.

● 11:24 PM A deputy encountered suspicious activity on CTH G, Belmont Township.


Green County Sheriff

On July 29:

● At approximately 3:35 PM, Deputies arrested Sebastian D Streiff, 19, of Brooklyn, for a probation violation. Streiff was incarcerated at the Green County Jail.

On July 31:

● At approximately 5:06 p.m., Deputies and Brodhead EMS, responded to the W1000 block of Decatur Rd., Town of Decatur, for a report of a car vs. tree crash. Investigation determined that the operator, Brynn M. Pinnow, 32 of Fitchburg, was traveling west when she lost control of her vehicle. The vehicle exited the northern portion of the roadway and struck a tree. Brynn reported wearing her seatbelt, not being injured and there was airbag deployment. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Further investigation resulted in Brynn being arrested for Operating While Under the Influence of Alcohol – 1st Offense. Brynn was also cited for Prohibited Alcohol Concentration and Failure to Maintain Control of her vehicle. Brynn was released to a responsible party pending a future court date

On July 31:

● At approximately 11:38 a.m., Deputies responded to the N700 block of County Highway G, Town of Spring Grove, for a report of a two-vehicle crash. Investigation determined that Mary A. Ford, 73 of Davis, IL, was traveling southbound when she crossed the centerline, sideswiping a northbound vehicle. Both vehicles sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene. Mary reported wearing her seatbelt, was not injured and there was no airbag deployment.The operator of the northbound vehicle, Shelly D. Elgin, 36 of Rock Falls, IL, also reported wearing her seatbelt and not being injured. There was also no airbag deployment in her vehicle and her passengers were not injured.


Darlington Police

On July 30:

● Cassie J. Kruser, age 33, of Darlington, was cited at approximately 10:39 p.m. for disorderly conduct following a welfare check on Main Street. 

On July 31:

● Jackson A. Serrano, age 21, of Darlington, was cited at approximately 12:55 a.m. for operating without a valid driver’s license following a traffic stop on Ohio Street.

● Daniel T. Mclean, age 31, of Muscoda, was arrested at approximately 8:08 p.m. on a valid warrant through probation and parole following a traffic stop on Washington Street. Charges of possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia, and felony bail jumping are also being referred to the Lafayette County District Attorney’s Office for review.

● Jamie L. Noyola, age 33, of Mineral Point, was cited at approximately 8:08 p.m. for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating while suspended following a traffic stop on Washington Street.
