Our Heavenly Father welcomed home Frieda C. Indergand, age 80 of Monroe, on April 16, 2014 where she joined her late husband, Kenny Indergand, on their 59th wedding anniversary. She was born on November 19, 1933 at Greenwood, WI; the daughter of John and Charlotte (Hediger) Kampfer. She graduated from South Wayne High School. Frieda first married Casper Nybroten Jr. in 1951, he died in 1954; she then married Kenneth Indergand on April 16, 1955. She enjoyed reminiscing about her days at the Chocolate Shop, Frito Lay, Sentry Food store, and Huffman Dry Cleaning. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, she enjoyed traveling, quilting and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Steve (Anik) Nybroten of White Salem, WA; two daughters, Connie (Dennis) Dregne of Janesville and Cindy (Steve) Vogel of Monroe; 2 brothers: Hans (Doris) Kampfer of Monroe and James (Virgina Leuzinger) Kampfer of Monroe; 3 sisters: Rosemary (Clarence) Schmidt of Glenco, MN, Marguerite (Robert) Stoehr of Monticello and Ruth (John) Wells of Monticello; 10 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and 5 step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, brother, Calvin.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Shriner Hager Gohlke funeral home, with Reverend Todd Hackman officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. A visitation will be held Tuesday, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. A memorial fund is being established in Frieda's memory.
