MT. HOREB - Daniel R. Fox, age 41 of Mt. Horeb, WI, died on Friday, July 16, 2010, at UW Hospital in Madison as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born on February 27, 1969 in Monroe, WI to Richard Fox and Beth Nipple Anderson. Dan owned and operated Fox Painting and Tree Service, now Fox Kahl Painting and Tree Service. On March 20, 1993, he married Tamra J. Thompson at Evangelical Lutheran Church of Mt. Horeb. Dan loved his family very dearly and was an avid outdoorsman.

Survivors include his wife, Tami; his beloved daughters: Becca and Jessica both at home; his mother, Beth (Jerry) Anderson of Belleville; his father, Richard Fox of Browntown, two sisters: Gina Haldiman of Monroe and Christy (Randy) Meier of Gratiot; paternal grandmother, Viola Fox of Browntown; mother- and father-in-law, Larry & Sue Thompson of Mt. Horeb; brothers- and sister-in-law: Deanna (Jonathan) Ranum of Mt. Horeb and Justin Thompson of Blue Mounds; grandparents-in-law: Luella Newell of Nebraska and Bill Law of Idaho; nieces, nephews, other relatives, many friends, and his faithful companion, his dog, Jordy.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cecil Fox and Harold & Cleo Nipple.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH OF MT. HOREB, 315 E. Main Street, Mt. Horeb, with Rev. John Twiton officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Horeb Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3:00 - 8:00 pm on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at ELLESTAD CAMACHO FUNERAL HOME, 500 N. 8th Street, Mt. Horeb, WI. Memorials are preferred in lieu of other expressions of sympathy.
