Jacob Richard Bell, 18, Argyle, was charged Thursday, Sept. 13, with felony bail jumping stemming from an incident two days earlier in the 100 block of South Broad Street in Argyle. Court records indicate he was arrested within Argyle village limits, in violation of a bond condition that he not enter the Village of Argyle. Bell has a preliminary hearing scheduled Oct. 24.
Nicholas D. Siegel, 19, Monroe, and Cody Alan Young, 19, Argyle, were charged Friday, Sept. 21, with a series of burglaries and thefts in Argyle. Court records indicate they burglarized a home in the 100 block of North Lafayette Street on July 24 and Aug. 4, stole prescription pills (Adderall and hydrocodone) and then resold them. They're also accused of stealing $565 in cash from the center console of a truck parked in the 300 block of North State Street and $40 from a person in the 12600 block of Wisconsin 78 in the Town of Argyle on July 31. Young faces an additional charges of burglarizing the same Argyle home Sept. 18 and stealing $82, Adderall pills and one pair of Air Jordan shoes. Siegel and Young have preliminary hearings scheduled Oct. 16.
Zackari L. Andrews, 22, Argyle, was charged Monday, Sept. 24, with intentionally contributing to the delinquency of a minor, a Class H felony, and possessing THC (marijuana), an unclassified misdemeanor. Court records indicate he tried in July to convince a juvenile via Facebook messages to commit battery against another juvenile and that on Aug. 20 he was found possessing marijuana in the 10500 block of County M in the Town of Argyle. He has an initial appearance scheduled Oct. 8.
Jonathan Perry Blaser, 22, Shullsburg, was charged Monday, Oct. 1, with Class H felony counts of battery by prisoner as a hate crime and strangulation/suffocation and a Class B misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct. Court records indicate that on Sept. 17 while an inmate at the Lafayette County Jail, he yanked another inmate off a bunk bed by the hair and punched and choked him, and that he did so in whole or in part because of the perceived sexual orientation of the victim. He has an adjourned initial appearance scheduled Oct. 10.
Shane Michael Molitor, 25, Platteville, was charged Monday, Oct. 1, with misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct, operating a firearm while intoxicated and possessing a controlled substance and a Class I felony count of possessing narcotic drugs. The charges stem from a domestic incident Sept. 26 at a residence in the 30900 block of County XX in the Town of Belmont. Officers reportedly located the narcotic painkiller hydrocodone and anti-anxiety medication diazepam on Molitor. He has an adjourned initial appearance scheduled Oct. 8.
