GREEN COUNTY

FELONIES

• Fredrick Dylan Veeder, 37, Albany, was sentenced Tuesday, July 24, to one year in jail and four years of probation on felony charges of fleeing an officer and driving while intoxicated (fourth offense in five years) stemming from an incident in February. Court records indicate Veeder led deputies on a chase across Green County at speeds of 115 mph in a red Mustang convertible that he took from a storage shed in Albany without the consent of the owner. Charges of disorderly conduct, vehicle theft and resisting an officer were dismissed. Veeder is fined $1,524 plus $690 in court costs and other fees.

• A warrant was issued Wednesday, July 25, for Joseph Brandon, 32, Factoryville, Penn., on four Class I felony charges filed the same day that Brandon failed to pay child support for periods of longer than four months in 2010 and 2011.

MISDEMEANORS

• Douglas William Axelson, 26, Brodhead, pleaded no contest Thursday, July 26, to a Class B misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct stemming from an incident in March in Brodhead outside a residence in the 600 block of East Exchange Street. He was sentenced to three days in jail and fined $505. Court records indicate Axelson slapped a 16-year-old male in the face with an open hand and head-butted him in the eye, causing swelling and a goose egg.

• Ryan A. Ciszewski, 41, Monroe, pleaded no contest Thursday, July 26, to a charge of disorderly conduct stemming from a domestic dispute in June in Monroe in the 800 block of 8th Street. He is fined $236.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY

FELONIES

• Jacob Richard Bell, 18, Argyle, signed a $500 signature bond Tuesday, July 24, on a Class F felony charge of burglary and misdemeanor charges of theft, criminal damage to property and intentionally contributing to the delinquency of a child. Court records allege Bell and a 13-year-old boy broke into an Argyle Community League concession stand at Argyle Village Park on July 15 and took candy, soft drinks, microphones, a wireless scoreboard box and $40 in coins. Bell's next court appearance is July 30.

MISDEMEANORS

• Charity L. Wichmann, 21, Freeport, Ill., has an initial appearance scheduled Aug. 13 on misdemeanor charges filed Thursday, July 26, of disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property stemming from an incident June 28.
