- Travis Robert Edler, 30, Brodhead, made his initial appearance in court Wednesday, April 4, on a Class I felony charge of stalking and misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct and knowingly violating a domestic abuse order. The criminal complaint lists more than a dozen incidents since August 2010 of sexual, physical and emotional abuse of his wife, and alleges Edler continued stalking her after she filed a restraining order and fled to a battered women's shelter. A cash bond of $5,000 was signed on his behalf on Thursday, April 5. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 11.
