On November 16:
● At 3:34 p.m., officers were called to a report of a suspicious vehicle that originated in the 100 block of West 8th Street. Officers observed the vehicle in the 300 block of 6th Avenue West and attempted to stop the vehicle for a traffic offense. The vehicle fled and a short pursuit ensued to the 100 block of CTH N. A passenger attempted to flee on foot but was arrested after a short foot pursuit. The passenger was identified as Aaron N. Mazahreh, 47, of Monroe, as was charged with resisting arrest and seven counts of felony bail jumping due to violations of bail conditions from prior cases. Mazahreh was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance. The driver was identified as Brayden J. Mazahreh, 18, of Monroe, and was arrested on charges of felony fleeing an officer, possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia, and felony bail jumping. Brayden Mazahreh was also cited for operating while suspended, failure to maintain control of a vehicle, failure to stop for a stop sign, non-registration of a vehicle, display of unauthorized registration and operating without insurance. Mazahreh was also placed on a probation hold by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole and confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
● At 4:58 p.m., officers were called to a two-vehicle accident with reported injuries in the 1500 block of 19th Street. An investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Marybeth Schmitz, 89, of Monroe, was westbound on 19th Street and collided with a legally parked unattended vehicle. Schmitz was transported by Green County EMS with non-life-threatening injuries. There was disabling damages to Schmitz’s vehicle and it was towed. Schmitz was cited for inattentive driving and released pending a court appearance.
● At 11:04 p.m., officers were called to a two-vehicle accident with reported injuries at STH 69 and 8th Street. An investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Gina L. Indra, 57, of Monroe, was eastbound on 8th Street, entered the intersection with STH 69 and collided with a northbound vehicle on STH 69, operated by a Monroe man. Indra reported a minor injury but declined medical transport. Both vehicles sustained severe damages and were towed. Indra was cited for improper stop and failure to yield right of way from a flashing red signal. Indra was released pending a court appearance.
On November 20:
● At 2:34 a.m., officers arrested Payton N. Ethridge, 18, of Monroe, following a traffic offense stop at 1st Street and 20th Avenue. Ethridge was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense, and also cited for making an improper right turn, open intoxicants in a motor vehicle and possession of false identification. Ethridge was booked and released to a responsible adult pending a court appearance.
