MONTICELLO - A community input forum will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Gabriella's Restaurant, 149 N. Main St., Monticello, for the 10-year Monticello Comprehensive Plan. This forum's activities will focus on community resources, including natural and agricultural resources, parks and recreation, education, and culture and creativity.
This is the first of four upcoming forums for the comprehensive plan. The remaining three will cover infrastructure (Feb. 11), economic development (March 17), and land use and implementation (April 21). During these forums, participants will lend their experience, expertise and innovative ideas to shape the future of Monticello.
The Monticello planning process is being conducted by the Southwestern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission and is supported by the efforts of the Village of Monticello.
