MONROE - Area cheesemakers made a great showing at the 2016 Green County Fair cheese judging.
Mike Nelson of Chalet Cheese Co-op, was the Grand Champion this year with his 40-pound Baby Swiss Block with a score of 98.85.
The cheese auction is 1 p.m. Sunday at the hospitality tent at the Green County Fairgrounds. All proceeds go to charitable causes chosen by the Foreign Type Board of Directors.
