MONDAY, NOV. 16

• The Albany Joint Recycling Committee will meet at 5:45 p.m. at the Albany Village Hall. Agenda items include recycling programs, fall acceptance and spring cleanup.

• The Albany Parks Commission will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Albany Village Hall. Agenda items include summer help, recommendation to the police department of fees and review concessionaire contract.

• The Monroe City Board of Public works will meet at 4:30 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include authorization of Parks Department to remove old warming house ad pole at corner of 15th Street and 16th Avenue.

• The Monroe City Public Safety Committee will meet at 5 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include discussion and possible action on downtown sign and traffic control plan.

• The New Glarus School District Board will meet for a retreat/work meeting at 6 p.m. in the high school library, room 183. Agenda items include focus on strategic planning and goal setting.

TUESDAY, NOV. 17

• The Albany School District Board will meet at 8 a.m. in the school library. Agenda items include a short-term loan.

• The Darlington Community School District Board will meet at 8 p.m. at the board meeting room in the Elementary/Middle School. Agenda items include considering compensation of crossing guards, use of facilities, donation and volunteer coaching requests.

• The Darlington Community School District Policy Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the board meeting room at the Elementary/Middle School. Agenda items include policy reviews.

• The Darlington Community School District Technology Committee will meet at 7 p.m. in the board room at the Elementary/Middle School. Agenda items include adoption of agenda including technology policies and technology plan.

• The Monroe City Common Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the city hall. Agenda items include a public hearing and roll call vote on a resolution adopting 2010 budget.

• The Monroe City Historic Preservation Commission will meet at noon at city hall. Agenda items include discussion regarding TIF and facade grant program.

• The Monroe City Judiciary and Ordinance Review Committee will meet at 6:45 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include discuss draft ordinance regarding parking and parking enforcement and possibly take action.

• The Monroe City Salary and Personnel Committee will meet at 6 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include a closed session to discuss candidates and compensation for Wastewater Utility Superintendent position.

• The New Glarus Village Board will meet at 7 p.m. at the village hall. Agenda items include consideration of 2010 budget resolutions.

• The New Glarus Village Personnel/Finance Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the village hall. Agenda items include consideration of village claims.

WEDNESDAY, NOV. 18

• The Monroe City Board of Parks and Recreation Commissioners will meet at 6 p.m. at the Community Center. Agenda items include continue discussion of disc golf course at Twining Park.

• The Monroe Common Council will meet at 5:15 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include a closed session to conduct second interviews with candidates for City Administrator with legal duties position, followed by an open session to possibly take action regarding the position.

• The Monroe Main Street Organization Committee will meet at 12:30 p.m. at Wisconsin Community Bank, 2nd floor. Agenda items include 2010 work plan and budget.

• The New Glarus Village Informal Administration Committee will meet at 7:30 a.m. at the village hall. Agenda items include review and discussion of Community Development Authority Nov. 23 agenda.

THURSDAY, NOV. 19

• The New Glarus Village Plan Commission will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the village hall. Agenda items include consideration of variance requests.

• The Town of Monroe will hold a public hearing on the 2010 proposed budget at 7 p.m. at the town hall. The proposed budget is available for inspection by appointment at the Clerk's home. Immediately following the public hearing, a special town meeting of the electors will be held to approve the total 2010 Highway expenditures and to adopt the 2009 town tax levy of $94,554 to be paid in 2010.

• The Town of Monroe Board will meet following the meeting of the electors at the town hall. Agenda items include updates on recycling, summer road work and Smart Growth.

FRIDAY, NOV. 20

• The Southwest Wisconsin Workforce Development ETP Ad Hoc Committee will meet at 9:30 a.m. at the SWWDB administration office, 1370 North Water Street, Platteville. Agenda items include review applications for Wisconsin's eligible training provider list.

SATURDAY, NOV. 21

• The Town of Sylvester will hold its annual budget meeting at 9 a.m. at the town hall, followed by the monthly board meeting. Agenda items include approve the proposed 2010 budget.
