GCPH: Testing moving to indoor, drive-thru location
gcph green county public health

MONROE — Beginning Monday, Dec. 20, Green County Public Health COVID-19 testing will be performed in a covered drive-through shed located on the Pleasant View Complex. The shed is across from Pleasant View Nursing Home, N3150 WI-81. Individuals getting tested should follow the orange traffic signs after turning into the Pleasant View Complex off of Highway 81. Testing will be available on Mondays from 9 to 11 a.m.

There is no appointment needed to get tested, but individuals should register for their test ahead of time at gcpublichealth.org. After registering people will be emailed a QR code (like a bar code) that they will need to bring to get tested — either on their smart phone or printed. People who do not have access to internet or a computer can register on-site. Registering ahead of time makes the testing process easier for staff and community members.

Testing will be set up as a drive through and community members should remain in their vehicle while getting tested. Community members will enter the shed on the west side of the building and exit the shed on the north side of the building after testing is complete.

Testing is open to anyone 12 months of age and older. People 12 months to 17 years old will need a parent or guardian with them to get tested.

Additional options for COVID-19 testing can be found on the Wisconsin Department of Health Services website, COVID-19 testing webpage: https://www.dhs.wisconsin.gov/
