MADISON - Wisconsin Power and Light, an Alliant Energy company, presented Shared Savings Awards to New Glarus Brewing Company, New Glarus, and Sloan Implement Company, Monroe, in recognition of their outstanding energy efficiency and conservation efforts.
Ten award winners were selected from participants in WPL's Shared Savings energy efficiency financing program, who implemented energy-saving improvements resulting in considerable energy savings, demonstrated a unique application of energy-saving technologies or overcame significant barriers in carrying out their projects.
The award winners combined saved 9,950,033 kWh of electricity and 324,573 therms of natural gas.
