MONROE - The Green County Humane Society will host its third annual Whine in the Woods fundraising event from 1 to 5 p.m. Sept. 10. Featuring a variety of wine and craft beer, the event will raise money for the care of rescued animals and maintenance of the humane society's shelter. Attendees can enjoy craft beer from the New Glarus Brewery, Pecatonica Beer Company and The Grumpy Troll, while food will be prepared by chefs from local restaurants such as Pancho & Lefty's, Buggyworks and Turner Hall.
