STOCKTON, Ill. — It’s summertime — a time when many people take trains, planes and automobiles (near and far) for adventures. The Stockton Heritage Museum wants to be part of the journey. The museum has a goal of more than 500 postcards to be submitted by the public during their travels this summer.

Send postcards to Stockton Heritage Museum, P.O. Box 93, 107 W. Front Ave., Stockton, IL 61085.

Visitors can stop into the museum to see the current display of old postcards. The museum will also put the ones received this summer on display and keep a postcard challenge tally. The current count stands at four.

The museum is open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays at 107 West Front Avenue, Stockton, Ill. Interested persons can also check the museum’s website at https://www.
