Snack with Santa at Albany Lions Club

ALBANY - Albertson Memorial Library will be hosting a Snack with Santa fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 12 at the Albany Lions Club, 402 N. Cincinnati St.

This will be a fun, family event suitable for all ages. Santa will arrive at 10 a.m. and will be present for the entire event. Visits with Santa and treat bags for children are free. For a nominal fee, the Friends of the Library will be offering a food stand, a children's shopping area (Santa's Shop), a raffle table, face painting and children's games with prizes.

Volunteers are needed to run stations and to donate baked goods, raffle prizes and Santa's Shop items. Slots for volunteer stations are available between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. in two-hour increments. Contact Valerie Johnson at 608-778-0311 to volunteer or donate. Volunteer forms are also available on the Albertson Memorial Library's website, www.albertsonlibrary.org, or at 200 N. Water St.
