ORANGEVILLE - Orangeville High School will present "Into the Woods" at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, March 20-21 and at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 22 in the Terry Miller Memorial Gymnasium at the high school. The musical intertwines the plots of several Brothers Grimm fairy tales and follows them to explore the consequences of the characters' wishes and quests. The main characters are taken from the stories of "Little Red Ridinghood," "Jack and the Beanstalk," "Rapunzel," and "Cinderella," tied together by a more original story involving a baker and his wife and their quest to begin a family, most likely taken from the original story of Rapunzel by the Brothers Grimm.

This production features the final high school performances of Ross Barker, Kaitlyn Best, Kelsey Blumer, Josh Dotzel, Andrew Gilmour, John Park, Christina Richardson, Shane Spielman and Derek Wehrenberg.

The Music Boosters will provide refreshments at intermission and conduct a silent auction with proceeds going toward the new sound system.

Admission is $5 for adults and $4 for students and senior citizens. Tickets are available at Orangeville Community Bank, Orangeville BOCO, and the Orangeville High School and Grade School offices.
