MONROE — At local hospital and clinic locations across southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois, SSM Health employees celebrated Sept. 28 as the health care provider launched its new name and united under one brand. Local and regional leaders unveiled new signs along with a renewed commitment to patients.
Beginning immediately, Monroe’s SSM Health hospital and clinic will be known as:
● SSM Health Monroe Hospital (formerly Monroe Clinic Hospital)
● SSM Health Monroe Clinic Medical Group (formerly Monroe Clinic)
In January 2018, Monroe Clinic came together with SSM Health in a shared partnership focused on providing high-quality, compassionate care to our community. Now, the SSM Health name will be used to better connect all of the facilities and services that make up its fully integrated health care delivery network in south-central Wisconsin and northern Illinois.
“Today we are renewing our vow to this community and everyone we serve,” said Matt Hanley, Interim SSM Health Wisconsin Regional President. “While the look may be changing, the mission and commitment to provide an exceptional experience to every patient remains the same.”
Over the last few years, we have integrated our departments and refined our shared vision to serve our communities even better than before. While the signs are changing over to the new SSM Health logo, patients will see the same providers they have come to know and trust in the same locations they are familiar with.
“Under our new SSM Health name and brand, we will continue to strive for excellence, create best practices, and deliver compassionate quality care,” said Jane Curran-Meuli, President. “Being a part of SSM Health has allowed us opportunities we otherwise wouldn’t have, and we’re excited to see what the future brings.”
Healthcare providers Monroe Clinic and St. Clare Hospital previously merged in 1992.
