MONTICELLO — ORCHID Monroe, LLC, a manufacturer of steel stamping products in Monroe visited the Green Cares Food Pantry on Tuesday, March 16, at W5198 County Rd C, Monticello.

James Wenzler, the Human Resources manager of ORCHID Monroe, provided the Green Cares Food Pantry with the recyclable tote bags.

“ORCHID Monroe really appreciates the support we have received through the years from our community and our employees. This was something we wanted to do to support those in Green County who come to the Green Cares Food Pantry for their needs,” Ryan Geisler, Marketing Manager at ORCHID Monroe said. “The past year has been especially difficult, and we felt it important to support the exceptional help Green Cares Food Pantry provides our community.”

Green Cares Food Pantry volunteer Jeannie Blumer said that the tote bags are a convenient way to hold the supplies they provide community members, instead of the cardboard boxes they normally use to distribute supplies. Marcia Voss, Green Cares Board President, stated the bags will be a great help because of their reusability for those who need to visit their pantry.
