Skylier Starks, 44, passed away on June 5, 2026 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.

Skylier was born on December 26, 1981 in Janesville, Wisconsin to Lori Coplein and Randy Edwards.

He found joy in life’s simple pleasures and was happiest when surrounded by those he loved. He had a passion for gardening and took great pride in watching things grow. He also loved cooking and sharing meals with family and friends. Whether he was casting a line while fishing or spending time gaming online, he embraced the hobbies that brought him happiness. Above all else, he treasured every moment spent with his children. They were the center of his world and his greatest pride and joy was creating memories with them. His love, laughter and unwavering devotion to his family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

He is survived by his fiancée, Crystal Andrews, his son, Trent Starks; his daughter, Cora Starks; his brother Zack (Brandy)Bruggerman and Gerald Coplien; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and countless friends who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lori Coplien; his father, Randy Edwards; and his uncle.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
