Library book sale planned

MONROE - Monroe Public Library is offering its annual Great Harvest Used Book Sale on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 7-8, during normal library hours.

The broad categories of books being offered this year are especially varied. Categories include, among numerous others, Biography; Business and Careers; Cars and Auto Repair; Crafts/Antiques; History; Home Repair and Decoration; Gardening and Farming; Children; Young Adult; General Fiction; Genre fiction (westerns, romances, mysteries) General Non-fiction. Paperbacks will sell for 50 cents and hardbacks for $1.50.

In addition to a wide variety of used books in good to excellent condition, this year's sale will include framed prints (undamaged frames of wood or metal) for $5 to $20.

Plastic bags supplied by the Library may be filled with items of your choice, including DVD's, Videos and CD's and purchased for $5. Large Friends-of-the-Library Canvas Totes (each a $10 value) filled with items of your choice may be purchased for $15.
