On April 15:

● 4:48 a.m. Ronny A Buehre, 54, Darlington reported striking a deer on STH 11, Shullsburg Township. No injuries were reported and Buehre’s 2018 Ford received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

● 7:48 a.m. Gratiot Fire responded to STH 78 in the Village for a tree on fire.

● 1:44 p.m. Benton First and Fire responded to St Rose RD, Benton Township for corn field fire.

● 4:26 p.m. Blanchard-ville Fire responded to STH 78, Blanchard Township for a field on fire.

● 5:04 p.m. Benton First and Fire responded to Wilkinson RD, Benton Township for corn field fire.

● 6:04 p.m. A deputy responded to CTH F, Fayette Township for a two vehicle accident. Michael J Meylor, 52, Belmont was operating a tractor pulling a roller when the roller had a malfunction and sideswiped a 2016 Ford, owned by Joel E Peters, 47, Darlington. No injuries were reported and Peters’ truck received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

On April 16:

● 9:12 a.m. A deputy responded to Ollie Bell RD, New Diggings Township for a theft.

● 11:48 a.m. A deputy responded to Ames RD, Gratiot Township for a hit and run.

● 6:46 p.m. A deputy responded to N State ST in the Village of Argyle for a two vehicle accident. Brock M Falsey, 16, Argyle was traveling on State ST in a 2003 Ford when he hydroplaned and struck a legally parked 2007 Ford. No injuries were reported and Falsey’s vehicle was towed from the scene with disabling damage, while the other vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene. Falsey was cited for Failure to Maintain Control.

On April 17:

● 4:36 p.m. A deputy and Lafayette County EMS assisted Darlington Police on Main ST in the City with a two vehicle accident. 

On April 18:

● 10:54 a.m. Shullsburg Fire and Shullsburg EMS responded to STH 11 in the City for a two vehicle accident. Shullsburg Police assisted.

On April 19:

● 9:39 a.m. A deputy responded to CTH I, New Diggings Township for a theft.

On April 20:

● 9:18 p.m. A deputy responded to County Shop RD, Darlington Township to assist Monroe Police. Franklin N. Lopez-Caceres, 29, Darlington was arrested and transported to Green County Sheriff’s Office where he was booked on his charges.

On April 21:

● 8:24 a.m. Deputies responded to S Kennedy ST in the City of Shullsburg for disorderly conduct. Kevin M Niemeyer, 27, Shullsburg was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and brought to the Lafayette County Jail where he remains in custody.
