WEST ALLIS - The Jones family farm, Darlington, won the Wisconsin State Fair open show. The Wisconsin State Fair open show is open to adults and youth breeders.
The family's heifer, Wildcat OC Patience 21Z ET, was named champion Hereford Female and Supreme Champion overall breeds at the open show. Another one of the family's heifers, GVM Miss Just A Lady 743 0912, was named Reserve Grand Champion Hereford Female. The family's heifer, Wildcat Cattle Company, was also named Premier Exhibitor of the Hereford Show.
During the Wisconsin State Fair junior beef show, Wildcat OC Patience 21Z ET, received Champion Hereford Heifer, as well as Champion B&O Hereford Heifer, Reserve Supreme Champion Bred and Owned Over All Breeds. Wildcat OC Patience 21Z ET is owned by Brett Jones.
Wildcat Electra Baby 214 ET, shown by Bailey Jones, was named Reserve Champion Bred and Owned Hereford Heifer. Brett Jones was named Beef Showmanship Winner age 15. Bailey Jones placed seventh in Beef Premier Exhibitor contest.
