MONROE - Green County Historical Society elected Ronna Jeglum, Stewart Strait, Walter Ringhand, Jack Oostdik and Ranele Connors to the board of directors on June 18. Also, officers elected are: Christie Strait, president; Jeglum, vice president; Oostdik, treasurer; and Connors, secretary.
Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month. The next meeting is 6:30 p.m. July 16 at the museum, 1617 9th St., Monroe.
The museum is open from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Now on display until September 28 are 32 wedding dresses from the 1890's to 2007.
