Drive thru job fairs Sept. 17
Unemployment job fair

MONROE — Three free drive-thru job fairs are being offered from noon to 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17 in Janesville, Beloit and Monroe. It is part of a statewide, unified effort to let job seekers know that there are still opportunities available in the area.

The three locations include the Uptown Janesville Mall (near the old J.C. Penney parking lot, rear entrance), 2500 Milton Ave., Janesville; the Beloit Public Library near the Eclipse Center (in the Blackhawk Tech tent), 605 Eclipse Blvd., Beloit; and the parking lot of the Blackhawk Tech campus, 210 4th Ave, Monroe.

Each car attending will be given one bag by staff wearing gloves and masks. The event is open to everyone with or without a vehicle. Those walking can approach the designated area.
