Daughters of the American Revolution to meet April 1

MONROE - The Colonel Benjamin Harrison Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at noon Tuesday, April 1 on the second floor of the Monroe Public Library, 925 16th Ave.

Pizza will be provided.

Marion Howard, of Darlington, and a DAR member, will give a presentation on the Battle of Meriam's Corner, which took place on April 19, 1775 between Levington and Concord at the beginning of the Revolutionary War.

A business meeting will follow, which will be the last meeting before the summer break.
