The fall parent/teacher conferences for grades one through 12 in the Darlington Community School District will be held Thursday from 1 to 8 p.m. Kindergarten conferences will be scheduled in November.
Parents of students attending grades one through six at Darlington Elementary/Middle School will have pre-scheduled conference times. Parents of seventh- and eighth-grade students may attend conferences from 1 to 8 p.m. on Thursday. All first- through eighth-grade academic and allied arts teacher conferences will be held in respective classrooms.
All high school teachers/advisors will be located in the high school gym.
Fall MAP test results will be available from respective homeroom teachers. MAP is used to measure a student's progress or growth in school. MAP assessments let teachers know where a student's strengths are and whether help is needed in any specific areas. Teachers will use this information to help them guide instruction in the classroom.
Parents are asked to please attend conferences. Conferences are an opportunity to find out how your child is doing in school and to ask any questions you may have.
