Colonial Dames meeting Saturday

NEWVILLE - The Reginald Foster Chapter of the Colonial Dames XVII Century will meet for lunch and their annual meeting at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 25, at the Culver's Restaurant in Newville. The program will be presented by Jane Brakefield who will talk about "Colonial Gardens."

Colonial Dames XVII Century is a lineage organization that is open to any American woman of good moral character who is 18 years of age or older. She must be a lineal descendant of an ancestor who lived and gave service prior to 1701 in one of the Original Colonies of the United States of America. Lineal descent refers to a direct legal blood descendancy.
