MCCONNELL - Grace Free Methodist Church, 206 E. Main St., McConnell, is having a 6 p.m. Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, candlelight communion service. All are invited to join the church community for the Lord's Supper as they commemorate the true meaning of the holiday.
A Christmas Dinner is planned at the church at noon on Thursday, Dec. 25. Meal delivery begins at 11 a.m. Friends and family are invited. There is no charge for the meal. A meal can be delivered to those who can not come to the church by calling (815) 868-9213. Many able bodied people have called for a delivered meal in the past.
