'Look Good, Feel Better' program set
MONROE - Monroe Clinic and the American Cancer Society will offer the "Look Good ... Feel Better" program from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 4, in the Argyle Room (lower level, clinic building).
Guided by a volunteer cosmetologist, female cancer patients who participate in this class will learn how to use make-up and skin care techniques to overcome the appearance-related effects of chemotherapy and radiation. MONROE - Green County Genealogical Society presents "Swiss Center in New Glarus" by Beth Zurbachen, at 10 a.m. Oct. 2 in the upper level of the Monroe Public Library at 925 16th Ave. Zurbachen relates what is available at the center.
Refreshments will follow a short business meeting. All meetings are open to the public.
