Annual Home Expo to return this April
Melissa Even

Are you struggling to find the right new home? Has your do-it-yourself list put you in a panic? Do you just want to sit outside and enjoy the hard work you have done yourself and leave the rest of your remodel and repairs up to the professionals? Stop out to our 2022 State Line Home Expo. We have all the professionals lined up for you. Home maintenance, interior and exterior design, lawn care, and several ways for you to protect your largest investment.

It has been a while and we have been very busy putting the details together in preparation for the 2022 State Line Home Expo. We have eagerly awaited the right time to bring back our expo and with a slight change to the event name, we are ready to go.

Planning and budgeting for home construction, improvements and maintenance is increasingly more demanding. Connecting to the professionals that can do the job and give you advice in a fun atmosphere is what we are about. With a focus on home improvement and restoration naturally taking the lead in our expo, customers get to hear straight from the experts on the latest trends and innovations that will make life much more satisfying in the state line region. We have always tried to bring new and exciting elements to the expo. This year alone we are seeing ten new businesses at our expo that will be joining our well-established field of local companies.

We have a wonderful relationship with the SLICE Arena located at 1632 4th Avenue West. The SLICE Arena is the largest venue available in Monroe and it serves dual purposes. It is home to our local hockey teams and once the hockey season ends, the SLICE Arena quickly switches gears and gets utilized for its secondary purpose. As an exhibition hall, it gets used for multiple events throughout the year. We are grateful that the youth hockey teams man “The best concession stand in any expo around.” Making this fund-raising stand part of our event makes everyone a winner. We are excited to tell you that the “walking taco” has made a glorious return.

We are adjusting the layout to optimize on social distancing and give people more room to speak to the businesses they want to learn more about. We are also incorporating our beer, wine, and cheese vendors directly in the layout so you can stroll through the entire event and enjoy a glass of your favorite beer or wine and a snack of your favorite cheese.

After a 2-year hiatus from our In-person event, we are thrilled to bring people back. Make sure to check things out this year. We have local contractors that are the right match for your project. Meet them face to face and hire locally. We make things as convenient as we possibly can!

The expo is held on Saturday, April 2 from 9:00-4:00 and Sunday, April 3 from 11:00-3:00. As always, the expo is free for the public to attend.

I can’t thank the countless people and organizations that make sure the State Line Home Expo comes together every year enough. Mark your calendar and make your life easier. Come in to the 2022 Home Expo April 2-3. We will have door prizes and we plan to make this a must attend event. We look forward to seeing you there! Remember shop local, hire local. Vendor registration is still open. If you have a business you would like highlighted in our State Line Expo. Call us today!
