To the editor:
I’m sure glad that the Democratic Party decided to select Milwaukee, Wisconsin to have their National Democratic Convention in 2020. I hope DNC Chairman Tom Perez really emphasizes the importance of all 50 states participating by getting out and voting in 2020. Wisconsin state Democrats will be electing a new person to head the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. Since I’m familiar with the organization MoveOn.org and their emphasize on the importance of good organization, I favor Ben Wikler because of his being a member of
MoveOn.org.
The main reason we must defeat Republican President Donald Trump in the 2020 election is because he seems to totally deny that he has anything to do with communist Russia or Vladimir Putin, as well as the fact that Russian President Putin favored Donald Trump over Democrat Hillary Clinton. Candidate Trump said he just loved WikiLeaks when they released the Democratic Party emails on Hillary Clinton. Julian Assange, who runs WikiLeaks, is wanted by a number of countries to find out if he is really accurate in what he is reporting and not biased. A number of networks feel the same interference from communist Russia is going to take place in the 2020 election. While Congress should increase spending to secure our elections, Republicans are voting against it. One senator even suggested we have a paper trail with our elections, which not all states have.
The newly-elected Democratic House, who took control on Jan. 3, 2019, are trying to get witnesses to testify under oath publicly concerning the Mueller Report which has just been completed after nearly two years. Republican President Donald Trump’s third pick for Attorney General, William Barr, thinks he works exclusively for Donald Trump because his first four-page report supposedly exonerated the president. But when the Mueller Report was released, where it could be read publicly, it looked like President Trump was very much guilty and the Democratic House will have to call up witnesses.
On Meet the Press, Sunday, April 28, 2019, Andrea Mitchell interviewed former deputy attorney general, Sally Yates who disagreed with Barr. The 2020 election is going to be another re-run of Republican President Richard Nixon who said he was innocent in the Watergate scandal and lied to cover it up. The question: Is President Trump lying to cover up the Russia connection? Elections are a lot better than having wars. Too bad all countries didn’t have elections.
