Goldenman: Abortion article put CPCs in a bad light
Letter To The Editor

From Dennis Goldenman

Monroe

To the Editor:

I found it appalling that the Monroe Times took a position on a political issue in the September 14 edition. The article from Wisconsin Watch was very disturbing in promoting abortion while criticizing the activities of crisis pregnancy centers. The closing section of the article was particularly objectionable by providing biased information regarding CPCs. How can a newspaper justify the endorsement of killing unborn babies? How can a newspaper justify the criticism of CPCs whose goal is to save the lives of unborn babies? The Pregnancy Center of Green County exists to promote maternal health and to save the mothers the emotional distress that impacts the lives of women who choose to abort. The allegations in that article are not representative of the PCGC. A supposedly unbiased newspaper has no business taking a position on political issues of this nature.
