We are writing this letter in support of Lisa Hendrickson as a write-in candidate for the Monroe school board.
We have known Lisa as a teaching colleague for a number of years, while serving ourselves in the school district as a teacher and administrator. During this time, we have come to appreciate her love for teaching, her great relationships with her students and a willingness and ability to provide innovative and proven methods of teaching to provide the best education she could for the students.
Lisa has continued her interest in education following her retirement by keeping abreast of changes occurring in education, always keeping in focus what is best teaching practices for students. She has been actively involved with the AFS program, bringing in students from a variety of countries, creating wonderful experiences for those students as well as providing opportunities for our Monroe students, exposing them to know and appreciate other cultures.
We know that Lisa will bring this wealth of background to the Monroe school board, looking always to providing the best possible education for our students in helping them to be successful in whatever they pursue once they graduate from our district.
We encourage you to join us in supporting Lisa Hendrickson as a write-in candidate for the Monroe school board on April 3rd.
