Monroe FFA wins state Milk Quality & Products Contest

The Monroe FFA Chapter was named the state winning Milk Quality & Products Career Development Event Team. Team members include Addison Currana, Telina Gratz, Amirah Mazahreh, and Taylor Jay. Their advisor is Danielle Pernot. The top individual was Samantha Sipes from the Hudson FFA Chapter. Her advisor is Andrea Mesko.

Participants in the Milk Quality and Products Career Development Event demonstrate their knowledge about the quality production, processing distribution, promotion and marketing of milk and dairy foods.

Monroe will now represent Wisconsin FFA in competition at the National FFA Career Development

Events to be held in October in Indianapolis, Indiana during the 99th National FFA Convention. The Milk Quality CDE is sponsored on the state level by South Dakota State University Food & Dairy Science.
